Mission Statement

The mission of the Hillview Church of God is to glorify God and uplift the name of Jesus Christ by taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to non-believers and teaching believers how to live according to the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Vision Statement

1. To provide an environment which fosters:

The preaching and teaching of the Word of God

The praise and worship of God

The inclusion of everyone seeking to know God

 by turning from sin and turning to Jesus Christ

2.  To be a church that reaches non-believers in our community with the Gospel of Christ. 

Hillview accomplishes this:

By encouraging our membership to practice friendship evangelism

By providing evangelistic activities

3.  To provide training for the believer to live according to the Word of God by offering:

Discipleship classes

Small group opportunities

Sunday School classes

Men’s and women’s ministries that address concerns for living a Christian life today
